KMWA- Charity Program


Mr. P.K. Anas, Treasurer, KMWA handing over the cheque of Rs.25,000/- being the contribution towards the treatment cost of Heart Surgery of Baby Fathima Fida Ibrahim, an eight year old girl came for treatment from Kerala and presently admitted in Escort hospital,New Delhi. The family of this girl sought the intervention of Association and the Charity Committee of the Association headed by Mr.Rafi decided to contribute Rs.25000/- for this purpose in consultation with Mr. Basheer, President of KMWA. Mr. Mansoor Kattanam, General Secretary of the Association is also seen in the photograph along with Mr.Ibrahim Kutty, the father of the patient came from Kerala, .

Family Get-together and Picnic on Sunday 3rd April in Nehru Park, Chanakyapuri

Dear friends,

I am very happy to inform all of you that our Association is holding a family get-together –cum- Picnic from 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM on Sunday, 3rd April 2011 in Nehru Park, opposite to Ashoka Hotel, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. Many colorful programs especially for children have been planned to be held during the picnic. Prizes will be distributed to the winners of different competitions during the Picnic. Engagement of Field Investigators by National Sample Survey Office

Engagement of Field Investigators on Contract Basis
Applications are invited from Indian Citizen for engagement of around 1300 (Tentative figure) Field Investigators on contract basis all over the Country for a period ending 31.03.2012. The selected candidates will be responsible for field Surveys of NSSO and would be placed at one of the Notional Sub Regional Office/ Sub Regional Office indicated at Column 4 of Annexure.
(1) Essential qualification:
(a) Graduate degree with Statistics /Economics / Mathematics as one of the papers at degree level.
(b) Fluency in English and local language(as per choice of Region).
(c) Knowledge of computer applications like MS office etc. Note: Preference will be given to those candidates who have experience in conducting field survey and field data collection work in government organization.
(2) Nature of Duties: The Field Investigators are supposed to do field surveys of NSSO to be conducted in rural and urban areas. The duties involves extensive touring within the assigned Region.
(3) Age limit: Age of candidate 21 to 40 years as on 1st June 2011.
(4) Reservation: In respect of SC/ST/OBC candidates accordingly as per Govt. of India’s Instructions in vogue.
(5) Remuneration:

(i) Field Investigators will be paid a consolidated remuneration of `15000/- per month, the amount is subject to approval.

(8) Last Date for Submitting Application: The Application must reach the Deputy Director General of Regional Office concerned by 31st March, 2011.

B.A.(Islamic Studies) started in Jamia Hamdard University



The course of B.A (Islamic Studies) has been started in Jamia Hamdard University, Delhi.

Last date for application is 15th April 2011.

The candidates should have passed any of the following courses with 50% marks for eligibility for admission:

Plus two, Afzalul Ulama Preliminary, Alimia courses of the institutions recognized by Jamia Hamdard University.

An entrance examination centre will be available in Calicut for the candidates from Kerala. English, Arabic Language and literature are also included in addition to Islamic Economics, Banking, Finance, Islamic Science, History of Islam as part of the curriculam.

Funeral Support to Moideen Kutty of Mavoor, Calicut

Janab Moideen Kutty (53) belonging to Mavoor of Calicut, Kerala was working in the Century Pulp and Paper Company in Nainital and staying there all alone in the company quarters. When he died his body was brought to Delhi by road on the way to Calicut where his family stays.

The members of Kerala Muslim Welfare Association took hold of the situation and provided all funeral support including funeral rituals for the departed soul. Funeral prayer was held in AIIMS, New Delhi today, ie.,23rd March 2011 at 6.00 PM. His body will be flown to Calicut by tomorrow and burial will take place there. Let us all pray for the departed soul.
